First step is to share your email and upload your DNA file. Answer Reports are $89 each. We'll let you know which ones we can reliably produce before you are required to order or pay for anything.

Get your file from 23andMe
- Sign in and go to you.23andme.com/tools/data. Or click your profile name, then Resources, then Browse Raw Genotyping Data, then Download.
- Confirm the birth date on the profile, read the notes, check the box at the bottom and click Submit request.
- Wait for the email saying your data is ready. This usually takes about a week and can take up to 30 days.
- Return to the same page, confirm the birth date again and download the file.
- Upload it to us as it is. You do not need to open it.
Get your file from AncestryDNA
- Sign in and go to DNA Settings. Select the test you want.
- Scroll to Download or Delete and select Download DNA data.
- Check the box to confirm you understand and click Continue.
- Verify your account with your password, or ask for a code by email.
- Check your inbox for an email from Ancestry. It can take up to 24 hours. Click Download DNA Data in the email. The link works once and expires after a week.
- The file arrives as dna-data-(date).zip in your Downloads folder. Upload it to us as it is. Do not unzip it.
Get your file from FamilyTreeDNA
- Sign in to your kit.
- On your dashboard, find the Autosomal DNA Results & Tools widget, click See More and select Data Download. Or use the top menu: Results & Tools, then Autosomal DNA, then Download Raw Data.
- Download the Build 37 Concatenated Raw data file.
- It arrives as a compressed .gz file. Upload it to us as it is. Do not try to open it.
Your browser will open its print window. Choose Save as PDF.
We'll research it and get back to you. Tell us the company and where to reach you.

How we handle your data. We never sell your DNA. Our policy is not to share your genetic data with outside parties; if we ever receive a legally valid request we are required to answer, we follow the law and keep disclosure to a minimum. We use encryption, access controls, audit logging and vendor agreements that restrict how data can be used, and only authorized people can reach the systems that build your reports. Research use is optional and only if you opt in. You can ask us to delete your file, your reports and your account information at any time, and we do it within 30 days.
