The terms that govern your use of the Intrinsic Genomics website, tests, and guides.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing our website or purchasing our products, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
2. What we provide
Intrinsic Genomics provides genetic analysis and educational wellness guides built from your DNA. Our guides translate published research into personalized, plain-language information.
3. Not medical advice
Intrinsic Genomics is not a medical provider and does not provide medical advice. Our guides are for informational purposes only, reflect a genetic predisposition rather than a diagnosis, and are not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a licensed provider before making health decisions, and before starting or stopping any protocol or medication.
4. Eligibility
Our products can only be purchased by individuals 18 and older. If you are buying for someone under 18, parental consent is required. The parent or legal guardian is responsible for the minor’s use of the service and for the accuracy of the information provided, including the legal name, gender, and date of birth required to process the test.
5. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and your private guide ID (IGID), and for all activity under your account.
6. Orders, payment, and fulfillment
Orders and payments are processed through our commerce provider. After purchase, we provide a lab requisition form for you to visit a Labcorp location. Please allow 6 to 8 weeks from your lab visit for your guides to be generated. Pricing and availability may change.
7. Intellectual property
The website, content, and our proprietary scoring frameworks, including Genetic Friction, Systemic Compatibility, Natural Inclination, Sensory Resistance, Tolerance / Adherence, and Success, are owned by Intrinsic Genomics and protected by law. Your guide is provided for your personal, non-commercial use.
8. Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or access it through unauthorized means.
- Do not resell or commercially exploit our guides or content without permission.
9. Disclaimers
Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Genetics is a developing field, and interpretations may change as new research emerges. We do not warrant that results are error-free or suitable for any particular purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Intrinsic Genomics, or its officers, directors, employees, or agents, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of our website, products, or guides, whether based in contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total cumulative liability for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to Intrinsic Genomics for the product or service giving rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months before the event, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Floyd County, Indiana, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
